Thai Crime for November 25th: Bank robbery (with a mask!); old lecher knocks up disabled girl; 8 million more yaba tabs
Another day, another yaba bust.
Degenerate Old Man Rapes 17 Year Old Girl with Cerebral Palsy; Knocks Her Up
There's a special place in hell where this sick bastard is going.
When: November 25th, 2020
Where: Chum Saeng Songkhram subdistrict, Bang Rakam District of Phitsanulok Province, Thailand
Perpetrator: Male 70 years, unknown
Victims: Female 17 years, unknown
What: The sexual abuse of a 17 year old girl with cerebral palsy will finally come to an end. Her father, after discovering his daughter was 3 months pregnant, went to police to report the rapes against her disabled daughter. The perpetrator, a 70 year old neighbor who lived less than 100 meters from the victim's family, was arrested with a warrant on November 25th. According to initial reports, the girl was raped 16 times both at the residence of the perpetrator and in the banana plantation nearby.
My take: This is a particularly sick crime. People with cerebral palsy suffer in this world already. Raping a young girl with the condition and knocking her up is one of those stories I wish I didn't have to report on. But this is the world we live in. Let's see how much time this guy gets. Or if it's just going to be a 'wai' and brush it under the rug. My question? What happens to the girl now that she's pregnant… and what happens to that child.

8 Million Yaba Tabs & 265 Kilos of Ice Seized by Cops
What gets through exponentially outweighs what's caught.
When: November 25th, 2020
Where: Khok Kong Subdistrict, Bueng Kan Province
Perpetrators: Mr. Boontham Wanthong, age 35:
Victims: Addicts that can't get their fix
What: Police spotted a suspicious car driving near the Mekong River in the middle of the night. They followed the car and found a boat crossing the river into Laos, transporting unknown packages onto the boat from the vehicles. The suspects escaped, except for Mr. Boontham, who was caught with 3 million Yaba tabs. They took him downtown for questioning.
Another set of officers found one of the pick up trucks that escaped from the scene. Here they nabbed another smuggler and another 5 million Yaba tabs and 265 kilos of ice. It's believed that the smugglers were working with an international smuggling ring.
My take: The amount of Yaba and ice flowing through Thailand boggles the mind. 10 million tabs snatched up here, another 8 million there. The numbers really start to add up. Only a small fraction of what was being smuggled in this incident was picked up by the cops. That begs the question. How much actually got through?

Bank Bandit Busts Branch in Bang Bon for a Half Million Baht
I'm just glad the guy wore a mask!
When: November 25th, 2020
Where: Bang Bon District, Bangkok Province
Perpetrator: Unknown bank robber on CCTV
Victim: Bangkok Branch of Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Co-operatives
What: A bold bank-robber hit up a branch of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Co-operatives (BAAC) in a southwestern district of Bangkok today. He approached the bank security guard with a firearm. The heist man rushed into the bank, hopped over the counter, and managed to score a half million baht. He escaped outbound on Ekachai Road. The upside? The bandit did consider the dangers of COVID-19 and wore a surgical mask for the safety of him and others.
My take: Desperate times will lead to desperate measures. From the looks of him, this guy ain't a pro. With that said, it was a bold move to hit up a bank in broad daylight for an armed robbery. At the end of the day he got his nut. At least in the US, bank robbers are caught fairly quickly. I'm curious how this pans out.
